How your data moves
The details you enter on this site are kept in your own browser so the pages can work, and you can clear them from your browser settings at any time. Your details reach us only when you choose to send them: by email (you press send in Gmail or your email app) or on WhatsApp (you tap Send). Those messages pass through your email provider or WhatsApp under their own policies. We may share what you send with the insurer of the plan you asked about, only to process your request. We do not sell your data.
Cookies and local storage
We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. The site uses your browser’s local storage for essential things only: remembering your theme, keeping you logged in, and saving the enquiries and policies you add. It also loads one script (a 3D graphics library) from Cloudflare’s cdnjs service, which receives your IP address and browser details when it loads. Analytics or marketing cookies, if we ever add them, will stay off until you allow them. You can change your choice any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Your consent
We use your data only for the purposes above, based on the consent you give by ticking the box on each form. The box is never pre-ticked. Where a form saves your enquiry in your browser, it also saves the date and policy version you agreed to. You can withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it: email us, or use the delete option below if shown. Withdrawing does not undo what was lawfully done before, and we may not be able to continue the request you made.
How long we keep it
Data saved in your browser stays until you clear it. Details we receive are kept only as long as needed for your request and for legal or regulatory needs, then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask for a summary of your data and who it was shared with, ask us to correct, complete or update it, ask us to erase it, nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or cannot act, and raise a grievance with us. Write to rath.satyaprasad@gmail.com ; we will respond within the time the law allows. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Our plan finder is for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data of anyone under 18.
Security and changes
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no method of sending data online is completely secure. If a breach affects you we will tell you as the law requires. We will update the date above whenever this notice changes.
